01 / About the Samprathishtaana

A living legacy of learning and service.

Founded on 7 November 1993 by the family, students and well-wishers of the late Vedic scholar Mitturu Purohitha Thimmayya Bhatta, the Samprathishtaana works to carry forward the ideals he lived by.

Its work brings together Vedic and Sanskrit education, thoughtful publishing, student assistance, public lectures, cultural programmes and support for people facing hardship.
